About Janie
IBCLC, CST
Janie was born the youngest of five in a military family, spending her early childhood moving from place to place until her family settled in Las Vegas in the early '90s. After her father’s retirement, she remained in Las Vegas for 23 years before moving to Caldwell in 2014 to be closer to family. She’s been married to the love of her life for nearly 20 years, and together they’ve built a joyful home with their four beautiful children—three daughters and one son.
Her personal journey through breastfeeding with her own children became a powerful turning point, inspiring her to leave a career in hair styling and pursue lactation work. Driven by a deep desire to support and uplift new mothers, Janie returned to school and has been serving families at the Caldwell WIC clinic ever since.
In addition to her work in lactation, she recently completed the CranioSacral Therapy 1 (CS1) course through The Upledger Institute, further expanding her ability to offer gentle, hands-on support for the body’s natural healing rhythms.
Outside of work, Janie treasures time with her big, fun-loving kids, cooking (and eating!), watching movies with her husband—always with a bucket of popcorn—playing the piano, and getting her hands in the dirt with her newfound love of gardening.
